In a 2007 experiment, 47 with peripheral neuropathy were divided into 2 groups: one receiving acupuncture therapy and other the best medical care but no specific treatment for neuropathy.
Whereas in the acupuncture group 76% of patients showed improvement both symtomatically and objectively, only 15% in the non-acupuncture group improved.
Acupuncture aids peripheral nerve regeneration, thus helping relieve neuropathy.
